Patricia Bryant joined Putnam starting in May of 2001 as an After School Coordinator and for the past 20 years as the Putnam Family Resource Center Director. Ms. Bryant holds a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern CT State University and a M.A. in Education from Sacred Heart University. Ms. Bryant started her educational career as a Guidance and Remedial Reading Intern in the Plainfield School system in 1995. In 1996, Ms. Bryant became the Family Resource Center Director and School Readiness Coordinator in Plainfield. Ms. Bryant has worked diligently to grow our Family Resource Center here in Putnam that encompasses seven core components to meet the needs of families in the Putnam community. Ms. Bryant also coordinates the Preschool Program with over 100 students enrolled on an annual basis and manages grant funds and family fees that support our Family Resource Center as well as our Preschool Program. Ms. Bryant serves on the Northeast Early Childhood Council and the Leadership Team, the CT State Family Resource Center Alliance as well as on the Office of Early Childhood’s Advisory Council. Outside of being a dedicated member of the Putnam School Community, Ms. Patty loves to read, travel (mostly to any place warm) and spending time with family and friends. |
