Welcome to Putnam Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year!

Congratulations to 8th grade student Tyler Parmentier who finished 30th out of 310 runners in the Middle School Cross Country State Championship.

Tyler Parmentier

Putnam Middle School will continue to provide breakfast to students each morning. Students wanting breakfast will pick it up in the cafeteria after arriving to school and then bring it to homeroom.  This program continues to be at no cost to families. We will also be providing lunch to all students each day at no cost to families.

I want all students in Putnam Middle School to have an engaging, productive, safe, successful, and fun middle school experience.  Our faculty is committed to challenging our students to become independent learners and responsible citizens while being responsive to their social and emotional needs.  The essential skills that students develop here at Putnam Middle School will help them meet with success in high school and in years to come.

I am looking forward to working with you to help each student have a successful year.  If I can be of any assistance or should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email at brucet@putnam.k12.ct.us or by telephone at 860-963-6920.

Sincerely,

Teri E. Bruce
