Congratulations Jozzlynn Lewis!!!

Congratulations to Jozzlynn Lewis, a junior PHS SADD member, has been chosen by SADD National for SADD Speaks.  SADD SPEAKs is an initiative of SADD National, funded by State Farm that focuses on addressing impaired driving issues. The participants will have a positive and lasting effect on public policy, demonstrating the power of America’s young people to speak persuasively on critically important issues. They will be trained in coalition building, public speaking and advocacy skills, then go to Washington DC for 4 days in July to meet with policy makers and legislators.  Jozzlynn was chosen as one of 15 kids from across the country, due to her work with SADD and her local prevention coalition, and her commitment to this issue.  Notable is that this was the first time in more than 10 years that a student from CT was selected for one of SADD National’s programs.

Jozzlynn joined the Partnership staff and funders at our annual Governor’s Residence Reception on Tuesday Night.  Congratulations again to this amazing young woman who is truly dedicated to making a difference in her school and community.
