Head Start Program

EASTCONN’s Head Start is a federally funded program for children, ages 3 to 5. Head Start programs promote school readiness by collaboratively enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and their families. Benefits of Head Start include strong family involvement and support with child development, education, health, nutrition, mental health, and safety. Income guidelines apply.

EASTCONN operates a Head Start preschool classroom located at the Putnam Elementary School.
